3th World Deaf Badminton Championships
Gergana Baramova won bronze in the woman single

       In women's double Baramova and Bozeva were defeated in the quarterfinals from Ishii/Ueda (JPN) with 2:1 (16, -16, 16). The first place took Iwatari/Inoue (JPN) after a win over Kim/Yu (KOR) in the final.
       In men's double Antov and Getov also reached to the quarterfinals, but were defeated from Teh/Yeo (MAS). The champion is the Korean double Woo/Choi, which defeated Bagga/Burris (GBR) 2:1.

Bulgarian and Lithuanian teams after the awards ceremony
Bulgarian top female player Gergana Baramova won the bronze medal from the 3th World Deaf Badminton Championships in Bucheon (Kor). In the quarterfinals of the single tournament she defeated Ishii (JPN) with 2:0 (17, 8), but in the next match she lost from Fan (TPE) with 2:0 (8, 17). Fan took the gold after won the final.

       Bulgarian badminton team took 4th place in the competition of total 11 teams. At the semifinals our team was defeated from Korea with 3:0 and later the Asians grabbed the world title. In the match for 3th place the Bulgarians were defeated from Lithuania 3:0.
